Just a guy who lives for Racing.

Passion for cars and motorsport is deeply ingrained in my DNA.
I am Thomas ‘Thomi’ Rackl and racing is my greatest passion. I was born on 28 December 2007 in beautiful Bavaria with petrol in my blood. This fascination for cars and motorsport became apparent at the latest when I spoke my first word: ‘car’.
Thanks to my father, who used to race motorbikes - and is still my most important supporter and one of my biggest role models - I sat on a motocross bike for the first time when I was just 3 years old. But when I sat in a go-kart for the first time in Wackersdorf in 2015, I realised that two wheels were not enough for me. From that day on, I had a new focus in my life. I finally started kart racing in autumn 2015, initially proving my skills in the Raket Rookie and Mini 60 classes.
This was followed by several victories in the OK Junior class until I was promoted to the KZ2 class in 2022. Since then, I have been able to improve my performance from race to race and make a name for myself in motorsport.
The 2023 season, which was my final karting season, was marked by many victories, great learning progress and two runner-up titles in the German national and international karting championships.
In 2024, I made the switch to GT racing, which was the next important step in my motorsport development.
In the 2025 season, I competed in the ADAC GT4 Germany alongside Linus Hahne for ME Motorsport. Over a total of six race weekends, we secured four podium finishes and achieved numerous strong results.
The next big step in my career will follow in 2026: I will be racing for Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport – alongside Gabriele Piana, one of the most renowned GT drivers in the world. Together, we will be competing for top positions in the GT4 European Series, the strongest GT4 series in the world, on the most famous and demanding race tracks in Europe.
In addition, I am one of only three drivers worldwide to be sponsored by the BMW M Racing Academy – and the only European in this international programme for young talent.
I also live out my passion for technology, speed and sport in my free time. When I'm not working on classic cars, I train on my road bike or mountain bike, go running, do strength training or swim – all with the clear goal of getting a little closer to my dream of becoming a full-time racing driver every day.
